    ON-SITE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

    Attend a course in person, or we can facilitate a class on your school campus. Contact our Professional Development team at 877.899.8550, send them an email, or learn more about the following options.

    • Librarian Professional Development courses come in full or half-day modules on a variety of topics, including Genrefying Your Library or Integrating Curriculum and Technology. 
    • Our Teacher/Classroom Professional Development focuses on combining pedagogy with technology, such as how to use tech tools to support close reading. See the course listing here.

    Follett offers on-site training for Destiny and other products. Contact your Sales Rep to learn more about these events.

    • Destiny product training offers instructor-led courses to learn more about all the amazing features in Library Manager. These classes are also offered in a webinar format.
    • Follett Institutes are regional events hosted by volunteer districts from October-April. Learn, collaborate and share best practices with other educators in the Destiny community. You can find the next event here.

    Follett is excited to announce Shannon McClintock Miller will be offering add-on PD consultation and courses to complement our offerings. An experienced teacher librarian, speaker, consultant and author, Shannon gained a large following with her The Library Voice blog. She now serves as an ambassador for Future Ready Libraries and Project Connect. Shannon is available to consult on topics such as being a change maker in libraries, schools and within education, as well as promoting Makerspace in the library, collaborating with teachers and empowering students as creators.
