I believe the first step in school library advocacy is in joining communities. They can be online communities or local/state/national professional communities, but it is important to be aware of what is going on in our profession. Once you have the awareness, you never know where you might end up.
This international school enjoys high levels of student engagement and literacy as a result of their progressive reading program and the efforts of the library staff.
