Follett takes data security very seriously and as a result, we are continuously monitoring our systems and software for threats, and enhancing our technology environment with the goal of minimizing risks for the institutions we serve. As part of Follett’s normal system security monitoring and protocol, a large scale ransomware issue was discovered by our internal teams and they developed a comprehensive technical solution—including an effective patch and automated update process—was put in place to minimize any potential risk for our K-12 Destiny customers.
